Jenny Lange
Jenny graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2000. After taking a year off to travel the world, she started working in a paediatric practice as a locum. This is where the love of working with kids started. Following this, she spent two years working in a rehabilitation unit, seeing both adults and kids with traumatic brain injuries as well as spinal cord injuries.
From 2004 until 2011, Jenny was employed by the Western Cape Education Department at Bel Porto School for learners with special educational needs. She loved it – the diversity of conditions seen, the team work and the heart and determination of these learners instilled in her a love of working with children with mobility needs. From 2012 to 2016, Jenny moved across to Vista Nova – a school supporting children with learning difficulties to right a main stream matric. She loved being part of a dynamic team and working within a more academic school setting.
And then kids came along in quick succession. After her second child was born, Jenny decided to leave the education department and start her own practice at home. That was the start of Physikidz and it has been growing ever since.
